Lindii Peace Foundation (LPF) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission in July 2014. Founded by survivors of the insurgency in North-east Nigeria, the organization focuses on combating severe poverty and enhancing protection for vulnerable groups, particularly women and children affected by violence or abuse.
Based in Maiduguri, Borno State, LPF operates primarily in the North-East region of Nigeria. Its work spans humanitarian intervention, peace advocacy, and human rights promotion, with a specific emphasis on child education, literacy, and reducing gender discrimination. The foundation engages in various thematic areas, including protection, empowerment, and emergency response to health crises such as cholera outbreaks. Recent activities have included distributing hygiene kits to returnees, supporting persons with disabilities, and conducting nutrition training in collaboration with partners like UNICEF.
LPF hires for roles related to its humanitarian and development programmes, such as hygiene promotion, community engagement, and WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) coordination. The organization values team members who can work respectfully with diverse communities in challenging environments and who have experience in community mobilization and health education.
