About the role

Lindii Peace Foundation (LPF) is a non-profit organization in Nigeria dedicated to promoting peace and reducing poverty. We are seeking a qualified and results-oriented Program Manager to provide leadership and oversight of assigned programmes and projects. This role requires strong programme management, coordination, and leadership skills to manage multiple projects in a complex humanitarian environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of programmes in line with approved objectives and donor requirements.
  • Coordinate programme teams across different locations and ensure activities are delivered within scope, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Monitor programme performance against agreed indicators and work closely with the MEAL team to improve implementation.
  • Manage programme budgets, monitor expenditure, and ensure value for money in line with financial controls.
  • Ensure compliance with donor agreements, support grant management, and maintain accurate documentation for reporting.
  • Lead and support programme staff, including performance management, training, and fostering a positive working environment.
  • Coordinate with support functions such as Finance, Logistics, HR, and Procurement to ensure effective programme delivery.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including government agencies, UN bodies, and community structures, to promote programme interests.
  • Integrate safeguarding, protection, gender, and inclusion principles into all programme activities.
  • Identify and manage operational, financial, and contextual risks, and develop practical solutions to implementation challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in International Development, Project Management, Public Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field. A Master’s Degree is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in programme or project management.
  • Demonstrated experience managing programmes from planning through implementation, monitoring, reporting, and close-out.
  • Experience working with donor-funded programmes and understanding donor compliance requirements.
  • Strong report writing, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Experience supervising and managing programme teams.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working in conflict-affected or resource-constrained environments is desirable.
