About the role
Crescent Rice Mill Limited is a leading rice processing company based in Kano, Nigeria. We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Financial Advisor to provide strategic financial advisory services. This is a part-time or consultancy role focused on loan acquisition, project financing, and capital raising to support business expansion and operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Identify and recommend suitable loan facilities and financing opportunities.
- Develop strategies for raising funds for business expansion, factory development, and machinery acquisition.
- Prepare or coordinate bankable business plans, feasibility studies, and loan applications.
- Engage with commercial banks, development finance institutions, and investment firms.
- Advise management on interest rates, repayment structures, collateral, and other financing terms.
- Support negotiations with lenders to secure favourable terms.
- Monitor financing applications from engagement through to disbursement.
- Provide regular reports to management on financing progress and risks.
Requirements
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CFA are an advantage.
- Minimum of 20 years of relevant professional experience in corporate finance, investment banking, or financial advisory.
- Demonstrable experience in securing or structuring loans for companies or large-scale projects.
- Strong understanding of Nigerian financial institutions and lending requirements.
- Experience in manufacturing, agriculture, or capital-intensive industries is a strong advantage.
