About the role
Beveledge Interior Designs is an indigenous brand known for manufacturing high-end furniture and creating functional spaces. We are currently recruiting two Quality Control Officers (Architects) to join our team in Lagos and Ogun. This full-time position focuses on maintaining consistent quality by monitoring processes, conducting inspections, and implementing corrective actions.
Responsibilities
- Inspect work at various production stages, including carcass, upholstery, finishing, spray painting, and assembly.
- Perform quality tests and measurements using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality procedures and company policies.
- Issue QC Pass, hold, or rework decisions based on inspection results.
- Enforce the “NO Pass, No Movement” rule to prevent defective work from advancing.
- Record defects, rework cases, and maintain accurate quality records and checklists.
- Recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve product quality.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and supervision teams to resolve quality issues.
- Provide clear, professional feedback and training to staff on quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
- Must be a registered Architect or eligible for registration with ARCON.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in architecture, interior design, furniture, fit-out, or project coordination.
- Strong aesthetic sensibility and attention to detail.
- Good understanding of furniture detailing, materials, measurements, and production processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong project management skills, including task prioritization and meeting deadlines.
