Emmanuel Bakeries Limited (EMB) is a prominent distributor of Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCGs) and Non-Consumable Goods in Kogi State. With over 22 years of experience, the company is based in Lokoja and has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality retail distribution services for food products, home care, and body essentials.

We are looking for a skilled and analytical Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of company data.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reports.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
• Support management with accurate and timely data for decision-making.
• Present findings in a clear and understandable manner.
• Maintain and update databases and reporting templates.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Operations, HR, and other departments to obtain and validate data.
• Automate recurring reports where possible.
• Develop dashboards and performance reports for management.
• Analyze sales, customer, inventory, operational, financial, and employee-related data.
• Develop meaningful KPIs and performance tracking reports.
• Collect, clean, validate, and organize business data from various sources.
• Identify trends, patterns, discrepancies, and opportunities from company data.
• Track sales performance against targets and identify gaps.
• Analyze branch, territory, product, and individual sales performance.

Requirements

• Minimum of a B.Sc. in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, charts, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience in data analysis or a related position.
• Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, or other data-analysis tools is an advantage.
• Ability to interpret large volumes of data and present meaningful insights.
