About the role
Fadac Resources and Services Limited is hiring an E-Commerce Manager for a client that is a leading luxury goods company in Nigeria. The company manages a portfolio of over 13 prestigious global luxury brands. This full-time position is based in Victoria Island, Lagos.
The primary goal of this role is to increase conversion rates and drive revenue growth for the online shop. You will act as a liaison between various departments, including Inventory, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and IT, to ensure the e-commerce platform performs at its best.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the e-commerce channel across desktop, mobile, and tablet devices.
- Oversee inventory management, merchandising, content publishing, and product information.
- Monitor and maintain online inventory for all business units.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports on KPIs and recommend improvements to achieve P&L results.
- Enhance the online consumer experience, ensuring consistent brand and user experience across all platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data feeds, integrations, and site tags.
- Deliver on sales targets as outlined in the company’s strategic plan.
- Drive commercial fundamentals such as KPIs, traffic, conversion, and average order value (AOV).
- Manage relationships and SLAs with Customer Service, Fulfillment Centers, and platform vendors.
- Launch successful sales events by partnering with cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to provide data for more effective campaigns.
Requirements
- Minimum of a first degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Humanities, or a related field.
- Preferably at least 10 years of experience specializing in E-Commerce.
- Expert knowledge of business principles, including marketing strategy, financial analysis, and supply chain oversight.
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, website analytics, and best practices.
- Knowledge of database creation and management.
- High level of integrity and flexibility to changing conditions.
- Experience in the luxury industry, retail stores, FMCG, or banking is an added advantage.
