Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Owo is a tertiary health facility and referral hospital located in Owo Local Government Area, Ondo State. Established in 1993 as one of the pioneer Federal Medical Centres in Nigeria, the hospital sits on a 58.4-hectare site approximately 48km from the state capital, Akure.
As the only Federal tertiary health facility in Ondo State, FMC Owo serves patients from the state as well as neighbouring Kogi, Edo, and Osun States. The organisation aims to provide affordable and accessible healthcare at primary, secondary, and tertiary levels to reduce morbidity and mortality among Nigerians.
The centre hires for various medical and healthcare roles, including resident doctors in specialities such as Ophthalmology, Internal Medicine, and Orthopaedics & Traumatology, as well as support staff like Health Assistants, Medical Laboratory Science Technicians, and Dental Technicians.
