About the role
Federal Medical Centre (FMC) Owo is a pioneer tertiary health facility in Ondo State, established in 1993. It serves as the only Federal referral hospital in the state, supporting patients from Ondo and neighboring states like Kogi, Edo, and Osun. The center is dedicated to providing quality, affordable, and accessible healthcare to reduce morbidity and mortality among Nigerians.
Responsibilities
As a Resident in Ophthalmology, you will contribute to the delivery of effective and efficient eye care services. You will work within the center’s mission to improve service quality through proper infrastructure and monitoring mechanisms.
Requirements
- A Degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS/MBChB) from a recognized institution.
- Evidence of completion of the one-year mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) or an Exemption Certificate.
- A current practising licence.
