About the role
Federal Medical Centre, Owo is a tertiary health facility and referral hospital in Ondo State. Established in 1993, it serves as the only Federal tertiary health facility in the state. The hospital has 350 beds and is equipped with modern diagnostic facilities, including a molecular laboratory for infectious diseases. It is recognized as a centre of excellence in managing conditions like Lassa fever and COVID-19.
Responsibilities
Provide medical or dental care to patients in accordance with the standards of tertiary health institutions in Nigeria. Specific duties will align with the operational needs of the Federal Medical Centre, Owo.
Requirements
- Degree in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS/MBChB/BDS) from a recognized institution.
- Current practising licence.
- Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Completed one (01) year mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) or provide an Exemption Certificate.
