About the role
Levitikal Group is a Real Estate and Construction Company based in Lagos, Nigeria. We are looking for a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team in Victoria Island. This is a full-time position focused on fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures, equipment, and components for our construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain metal frameworks, equipment, and machinery parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and project specifications.
- Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication of metal components and structures.
- Collaborate with supervisors and construction teams to meet project timelines.
- Operate welding equipment and related tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain welding tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
- Conduct inspections to identify defects and ensure weld quality.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Minimum of SSCE / Technical Trade Certificate in Welding and Fabrication.
- Good understanding of workplace safety procedures.
- Proficiency in arc welding, MIG, TIG, and gas welding techniques.
- 2-5 years’ experience in construction, manufacturing, or industrial projects.
- Relevant welding certification is an added advantage.
