About the role
Whassan Nigeria Limited is a fully owned Nigerian company with over 40 years of experience in industrial catering, facility maintenance, and manpower supply. We are looking for qualified professionals to join our team as Cooks for both continental and national menus. This is a full-time position based in offshore and onshore locations. The role operates on a renewable contract basis.
Responsibilities
- Innovate and follow recipes to prepare meals.
- Handle kitchen demands and work long hours as required.
- Apply proficient cooking techniques and ensure high-quality food presentation.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards.
- Plan menus and interpret recipes effectively.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in industrial catering.
- Food safety certification.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Knowledge of catering hygiene standards.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Catering certification is an added advantage.
