Chowdeck is a food technology company operating a delivery platform that connects food vendors, consumers, and delivery riders. The service allows customers to order meals, groceries, and healthcare supplies from local businesses, with deliveries handled by a network of riders.
The company was founded by Babafemi Aluko, who launched the platform after experiencing difficulties finding reliable food delivery services during a period of isolation in early 2021. Chowdeck describes its mission as delivering happiness through seamless meal ordering and supporting food businesses in growing their reach.
Chowdeck operates in Lagos, Nigeria, with its office located in Ikoyi. The company hires for various roles, including product management, operations, and customer support, often offering hybrid working arrangements. It provides a mobile application for both Android and iOS users to place orders and track deliveries.
