About the role
Elizabeth Maddeux Limited is seeking a commercially driven Technical Sales Engineer to lead client engagement and business development for construction and infrastructure projects. This full-time position is based in Ikeja, Lagos. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, helping to translate engineering requirements into winning proposals while ensuring solutions meet regulatory, safety, and quality standards. The role is client-facing and revenue-driven, combining a civil engineering foundation with strong sales skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare technical proposals, cost estimates, and quotations to convert opportunities into sales.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, and consultants.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting guidance to clients and project teams.
- Conduct client meetings and site visits to understand project requirements.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and monitor market trends.
- Liaise between site teams, management, and clients to ensure smooth handoff from sale to delivery.
- Achieve agreed sales targets and maintain accurate sales activity reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction, infrastructure, or technical/B2B sales.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Commercially driven and able to manage multiple client relationships under pressure.
- Professional certification or registration with COREN is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in engineering design/CAD software is an advantage.
