About the role
BrandCo focuses on bringing high-street brands to the urban African consumer through world-class retail experiences. We are looking for an Infrastructure and Projects Lead to oversee the planning, delivery, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our physical infrastructure, facilities, and strategic projects. This full-time role is based in Lagos.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance, functionality, and operational readiness of offices and retail locations.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for buildings, equipment, and utilities.
- Lead the planning, execution, and closure of infrastructure and business projects within approved budgets and timelines.
- Coordinate new store openings, renovations, relocations, and expansions.
- Manage relationships with contractors, consultants, vendors, and landlords.
- Monitor project expenditure and provide timely variance reports.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and statutory requirements.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to align infrastructure projects with business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
- 7–10 years of relevant experience managing infrastructure, facilities, construction, or business projects.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, preferably in retail, commercial, FMCG, or hospitality environments.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, construction processes, and facilities management.
- Relevant professional certification in Project Management, Engineering, or Facilities Management is an advantage.
