About the role
NewGlobe is hiring a Supervisor, Schools to support the transformation of public education systems in Katsina. In this position, you will be the central link for implementing our educational programs, focusing on school management, staff development, and instructional design. You will spend the majority of your time in schools, providing mentorship and using data to drive improvements in teaching practices and student outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Supervise school leaders and staff, ensuring they meet learning and development goals.
- Conduct daily classroom observations and provide structured feedback using established rubrics.
- Engage with stakeholders, including government officials, parents, and community groups.
- Use data from audits and school management systems to guide performance improvements.
- Support school events, enrollment efforts, and preparation for national examinations.
- Lead leadership and development sessions for new and existing staff.
Requirements
- An undergraduate degree in any field; a B.Ed or Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Proven experience in community leadership and team management.
- Experience in mentorship, coaching, or teaching (two years of teaching experience is highly preferred).
- Fluency in English and Hausa.
- Willingness to travel daily to schools and work in a dynamic, field-based environment.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to data-driven decision-making.
