AG Industries Limited is a manufacturing company seeking a Logistics Officer to join their team in Ibadan, Oyo. This full-time position focuses on managing the flow of goods, coordinating with drivers, and ensuring efficient delivery operations. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys organizing logistics and working closely with warehouse and sales teams.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with warehouse and sales teams to process orders and arrange dispatches.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, dispatches, and product returns.
- Ensure products are handled, loaded, and transported safely.
- Verify product details and documentation before goods leave the facility.
- Monitor returned, rejected, or damaged goods and document issues.
- Coordinate the movement of finished products from production to distribution points.
- Manage company drivers, delivery vehicles, and third-party transport providers.
- Report vehicle breakdowns, accidents, and transport incidents promptly.
- Monitor vehicle availability, fuel usage, mileage, and transportation expenses.
- Ensure drivers have valid licenses and comply with safety policies.
- Oversee vehicle maintenance in collaboration with the maintenance team.
Requirements
- Must live close to New Garage, Ibadan.
- Experience in logistics, dispatch, or fleet management is preferred.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and external providers.
