About the role
Ultimum Limited is a fast-growing beverage manufacturer and a Nigerian subsidiary of Union Camerounaise de Brasseries. We are looking for a Production Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Abia. In this position, you will lead the maintenance team to ensure all production line equipment operates efficiently. Your main goal is to minimize downtime and maximize asset availability through effective troubleshooting and preventive maintenance programs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all production machinery.
- Supervise daily maintenance activities and assign tasks to team members.
- Coordinate safety and technical training for maintenance personnel.
- Respond promptly to machine failures and breakdowns.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with HACCP, OH&S, and Quality Assurance standards.
- Manage resources for the on-time execution of maintenance plans.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including Total Productive Management (TPM).
- Report on maintenance performance indicators regularly.
Requirements
- NABTEB, WAEC Technical, or OND in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production and maintenance roles, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing safety standards and utilities operations.
- Experience in focused improvement maintenance (FIM) planning and execution.
- Proficiency in SAP PM, other CMMS systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
