About the role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is seeking an Operations – Drilling Logistics Lead III to join their team in Port Harcourt, Rivers. As part of the Projects, Drilling & Exploration Procurement group, you will provide logistical and materials management services. You will report to the Drilling Operations Superintendent for day-to-day matters and the Drilling Superintendent for functional issues.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day logistical business, including implementing logistics strategies and supervising drilling logistics contractor staff.
- Coordinate material movements to offshore or onshore rig locations.
- Receive Drilling Programs to determine equipment, tools, and materials requirements.
- Maintain safe storage of company-owned drilling equipment and ensure timely replenishment through purchase, fabrication, or repairs.
- Ensure sites meet daily requirements through proper equipment allocation.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree plus formal training in mechanical trades.
- Experience working in Operations, preferably in drilling support activities.
- Experience in material handling equipment such as cranes and forklifts.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in computer use with excellent administrative and organizational competencies.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and stakeholders in remote frontier regions.
- Demonstrated sound ethical practices in supervision, inventory control, and contract administration.
