We are recruiting a Head, Performance Analytics & MIS to lead the development of forward-looking performance analytics and ensure the integrity of management reporting.
Responsibilities
- Develop early-warning indicators and forward-looking performance analytics.
- Provide validated outputs for Monthly Performance Reviews (MPR), Quarterly Performance Reviews (QPR), and Executive reporting.
- Establish report production, access, and change-management controls.
- Automate recurring MIS and scorecard production.
- Monitor report usage and continuously improve dashboards and reporting solutions.
- Ensure critical management information is delivered within agreed timelines.
- Establish controls over key performance information and reporting.
- Implement governance over MIS definitions, data sources, and reporting methodologies.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of performance information.
- Oversee the automation of recurring management information processes.
- Partner with Technology and Data teams to improve source-data availability and quality.
- Develop and oversee executive dashboards and management reports.
- Lead advanced analysis of trends, drivers, exceptions, and emerging risks.
- Partner with FP&A and Business Partners to meet management information requirements.
- Maintain reporting dictionaries, calculation logic, data definitions, and version controls.
- Challenge inconsistencies between reported performance and underlying data.
- Lead analytical capability development and talent development initiatives within the team.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related discipline. A Master’s Degree and/or professional certification in Accounting or Finance (such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, CFA) is required. Relevant postgraduate and/or professional qualifications are an added advantage.
- Experience: 15+ years in MIS, Performance Analytics, BI, Data Analytics, or Management Reporting, including at least 5 years in senior management. Banking or financial-services experience is strongly preferred.
- Skills: Understanding of banking financial drivers (income, funding, credit, capital, liquidity, operating expenses, and profitability). Demonstrable experience managing MIS reporting in a large and complex organization. Experience in developing and implementing dashboards and management information frameworks.
