About the role
FMR Agency is seeking a proactive and commercially minded Customer Service Representative to support a client in the food retail industry. This full-time position focuses on enhancing the customer experience while driving sales. You will manage interactions across various digital channels and ensure smooth order processing from enquiry to delivery.
Responsibilities
- Follow up with prospective customers to convert enquiries into sales.
- Upsell and cross-sell complementary products to maximize revenue.
- Manage customer enquiries via WhatsApp Business, Instagram, telephone, and website.
- Process customer orders accurately and maintain complete documentation.
- Handle complaints professionally and escalate complex issues when necessary.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on customer service and sales trends.
- Conduct after-sales follow-ups to encourage repeat purchases.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and payment confirmation.
Requirements
- Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Previous experience in Customer Service, Retail Sales, Telesales, or E-commerce.
- Strong sales ability with a proven track record of converting enquiries to orders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital communication tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proximity to Surulere, Lagos is essential.
- Experience with WhatsApp Business or Instagram is an added advantage.
