Christian Aid is a UK-based international non-governmental organisation that works to end poverty in Africa. It has been operating in Nigeria since 2003 and currently works in more than 30 countries globally.
In Nigeria, the organisation’s country programme focuses on community health and HIV, accountable governance (including humanitarian response), and gender. It implements projects such as the Sustainable Entrepreneurship-Led Poultry Transformation Programme (SEPTP), which supports financially disadvantaged young people aged 18 to 35 in the poultry value chain. This programme prioritises young women, persons with disabilities, refugees, and displaced persons across Adamawa, Delta, Enugu, Kano, Ogun, and Plateau states, as well as the Federal Capital Territory.
Christian Aid hires for roles in programme implementation, communications, and youth engagement, including internships and advisory positions that require skills in facilitation, monitoring and evaluation, and safeguarding.
