About the role
Sun King is a global leader in solar-powered home energy, serving over 26 million people in more than 40 countries. We are looking for an Area Business Manager to join our EasyBuy Direct Sales team in Afikpo, Ebonyi. In this permanent, full-time position, you will be accountable for generating sales, ensuring timely collections, and growing our direct distribution network through a team of Energy Officers.
Responsibilities
- Manage Energy Officers: Hire, train, and supervise a team of at least 40 Energy Officers. Conduct joint field work, including night and market activations, to drive sales and engagement.
- Drive Sales & Collections: Meet or exceed monthly sales and collection targets. Review collection progress daily and implement robust follow-up processes.
- Customer Service: Ensure world-class customer support for product delivery, installation, and after-sales issues, resolving queries within 24 hours.
- Marketing & Operations: Manage marketing materials and equipment, ensuring maximum return on investment for supply chain and store maintenance.
- Reporting: Provide daily and weekly updates on sales, recruitment, and customer issues to the Regional Business Manager.
Requirements
- A degree in a business-related field or equivalent qualification.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in sales.
- Extensive experience in customer care and relationship building.
- Strong knowledge of the local territory and community dynamics.
- Excellent computer skills, with comprehensive knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks while maintaining high ethical standards.
