About the role
FactBase Consulting Limited is recruiting a Supply Chain Officer for a fast-growing major FMCG (Foods and Beverages) company. The company has plants in Ogun State and Abuja. This is a full-time position based in Ogun.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate stock replenishment across plants, warehouses, depots, or distribution locations based on demand, inventory position, and approved allocation plans.
- Analyse inventory trends and recommend actions to reduce excess, obsolete, slow-moving, and ageing inventory while maintaining required service levels.
- Work closely with Demand Planning to reconcile demand and supply requirements and resolve gaps between forecasted demand and available supply.
- Collaborate with Procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and other production inputs in line with approved supply plans.
- Monitor inventory levels of finished goods, raw materials, packaging materials, and other critical supplies to ensure optimum stock availability.
- Identify potential supply constraints, material shortages, production capacity limitations, and other risks that may affect product availability and proactively recommend mitigation actions.
- Monitor production plan adherence and assess the impact of production variances, downtime, capacity constraints, and material shortages on supply commitments.
Requirements
- Degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Business Admin, Economics, or other relevant discipline.
- Minimum of four years’ relevant experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, and Contract Management, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Professional Certification in Procurement is an added advantage.
