About the role
Erisco Foods Limited is an indigenous food product manufacturer based in Nigeria. We produce items such as tomato paste, seasonings, rice, and milk cubes. We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Senior Machine Operator to join our production team in Ikeja, Lagos. This is a full-time position focused on ensuring smooth and efficient production.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor food processing or packaging machinery.
- Ensure machines are properly set up for production runs.
- Carry out regular cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
- Detect and report mechanical faults or malfunctions.
- Ensure compliance with company safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet daily production targets.
- Accurately complete production logs and reports.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE / OND / Technical Certificate or its equivalent.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing/FMCG environment.
- Basic understanding of mechanical operations and machine maintenance.
- Good attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work shifts or extended hours if required.
- Candidates must reside within the Alausa, Oregun, Ojota, Ogba, or Ketu axis.
