About the role

Propetrol Limited is an energy company operating in petroleum trading, marine logistics, engineering, procurement, construction, and renewable energy. We are looking for a Senior Associate to drive business development within our EPC portfolio. You will independently manage assigned accounts, work with technical and commercial teams to create competitive proposals, and be accountable for pipeline development and commercial targets.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue EPC opportunities in oil and gas, marine, industrial infrastructure, and renewable energy sectors.
  • Develop account plans and manage opportunities from initial engagement through contract award and handover.
  • Research client investment plans, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Build relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Lead client engagements, capability presentations, and proposal follow-ups.
  • Assess tender opportunities and recommend bid/no-bid decisions.
  • Coordinate vendor registrations and prequalification submissions.
  • Drive proposal preparation with Engineering, Procurement, Operations, Finance, and Legal teams.
  • Ensure bids meet client requirements, reflect delivery capabilities, and adhere to deadlines.
  • Support pricing reviews and assess commercial terms and risks.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide pipeline forecasts.
  • Contribute to targets for qualified opportunities, contract wins, revenue, and margins.
  • Coordinate the handover of awarded contracts with clear documentation of scope and obligations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of four years of relevant experience in business development, technical sales, tendering, or commercial roles.
  • Experience in EPC, engineering services, oil and gas, infrastructure, or renewable energy.
  • Demonstrated track record of developing qualified opportunities and contributing to successful bids.
  • Strong understanding of EPC project lifecycles, tendering processes, and client procurement requirements.
  • Experience managing client relationships and coordinating technical and commercial proposals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.
  • An established industry network and relevant professional certification are advantages.
