About the role
Ascentech Services Limited is seeking a qualified Production Pharmacist to support pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. The role focuses on ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining product quality, and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards. This is a full-time position based in Afromedia, Ojo, Lagos.
Responsibilities
- Ensure products meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with quality assurance, research and development, and regulatory teams.
- Identify and investigate production deviations, discrepancies, and product complaints.
- Supervise pharmaceutical production processes, including manufacturing, filling, labelling, and packaging.
- Train production staff on operational procedures and safety standards.
- Review batch records and maintain accurate production documentation.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and production process optimisation.
- Participate in internal audits, regulatory inspections, and quality assessments.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
- Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical production processes and GMP standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively within a team.
- 1 year of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or industrial manufacturing.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
