Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing non-sterile products and packaging medicines where permitted.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment.
- Provide courteous customer service and direct clients to pharmacists for clinical advice.
- Support inventory management tasks, including stock checks, expiry-date monitoring, and product shelving.
- Help maintain accurate patient and prescription records.
- Assist with receiving, sorting, and dispensing prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
- Support health-promotion activities and other day-to-day pharmacy operations.
Requirements
- Recent graduation from an accredited pharmacy programme.
- Eligibility to complete an internship in line with local pharmacy regulatory requirements.
- Basic knowledge of pharmacy practice, medicines, and confidentiality requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow professional instructions.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications is an advantage.
