About the role
West Africa Vocational Academies is recruiting on behalf of a premium bridal fashion brand for a People and Systems Manager. This full-time, hybrid role (20% remote) is based in Lagos. The position focuses on integrating systems, automating processes, and managing people to ensure the business operates efficiently and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate business operations across Sales, Production, Finance, and Retail.
- Implement and manage Zoho or a comparable business-management platform to automate workflows and improve visibility.
- Build, document, and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and operational controls.
- Manage HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and employee relations.
- Oversee administration, office management, and vendor performance.
- Coordinate training and development programs to close capability gaps.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations, HR, Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in business operations, administration, HR, or process improvement.
- Practical experience in HR administration, performance management, and employee lifecycle processes.
- Demonstrable experience mapping processes and configuring workflows.
- Strong hands-on experience with Zoho applications is highly desirable.
- Experience in fashion, retail, luxury, or consumer goods is an advantage.
- Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills.
