About the role
Green Africa Airways Limited is a value airline based in Lagos, Nigeria. As a new carrier, we aim to provide safe, reliable, and affordable air travel to a broader customer base, contributing to the economic development of Nigeria and the African continent. We are currently seeking a Lead, Reward and Compliance to join our Talent Management team on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processes, including data entry, wage calculations, deductions, taxes, and adjustments.
- Ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries and benefits to employees.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity for employee information, earnings, and taxes.
- Participate in salary surveys and compensation studies to monitor market trends and best practices.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxes, and deductions in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with Talent Management and finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and accounting for payroll expenses.
- Coordinate with finance and accounting teams for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting of compensation and benefits expenses.
Requirements
- B.Sc or HND qualification in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in payroll processing and tax compliance, preferably in a multinational company.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in HRIS and compensation management systems, as well as MS Office applications (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint).
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in Total Rewards Management and Employee Relations.
