About the role
Student Housing Company provides accommodation solutions for higher institution students in Nigeria through the construction and operation of hostels. We are currently recruiting for four Junior Accountant positions across Abuja (FCT), Bauchi, Kaduna, and Ogun.
Responsibilities
- Handle general accounting and bookkeeping tasks
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Maintain the general ledger
- Support the preparation of financial reports
- Conduct data analysis
- Ensure regulatory compliance
- Assist with audits
- Process payroll
- Perform data entry
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from a reputable institution
- Minimum of 2 years work experience in a similar role
- Knowledge and experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and accounting software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
