About the role
Avetium Consult is a Business Process Outsourcing and Technology solution company based in Nigeria. We are looking for an IT Service Monitoring and Operations Officer to join our team in Lagos. This is a full-time position focused on maintaining the performance and security of our IT services.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze IT services to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security.
- Use monitoring tools to track IT infrastructure and services.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Analyze performance data to optimize IT services.
- Collaborate with IT teams to resolve incidents.
- Provide reports and insights to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in IT monitoring, help desk, or a related role.
- Proficiency in monitoring tools such as Grafana, SolarWinds, Nagios, or Manage Engine.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
