About the role
Stockgap Fuels Limited is a leading oil and gas company in Nigeria’s downstream sector. As part of its expansion, the company is investing in new storage and cylinder filling facilities across four strategic regions. This full-time position is based in Abuja (FCT) within the LPG Bottling Plant Operations department. There are 7 openings available for this role.
Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming empty cylinders for valve and body defects, and purge them according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Perform leak checks, replace O-rings and pins, and handle capping and sealing.
- Operate carousel filling stations to ensure cylinders are filled to the target weight (maximum 85% fill).
- Manage FIFO stock rotation and assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Maintain floor housekeeping and support dispatch activities.
Requirements
- Education: Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE), OND, or trade/technical certification.
- Experience: 1–3 years in an LPG bottling plant or manufacturing environment. Entry-level candidates with strong technical aptitude may be considered.
