We are looking for an Accounting and Finance Operation Intern to support our financial team. This role involves maintaining accurate accounting records, processing transactions, and assisting with financial reporting and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records, including general ledgers, journals, and invoices.
- Process and validate financial transactions in a timely manner.
- Manage accounts payable activities and liaise with vendors to resolve billing issues.
- Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Support month-end close activities and prepare financial summaries.
- Assist with tax preparation, internal and external audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Adhere to established accounting policies and internal controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Completed National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
- 1-2 years of experience in a related role.
