About the role
Hitech Construction Company Limited, a leading building and civil engineering contractor established in 1988, is looking for an Accountant to join their team. The role is based in Ayetoro, Ogun, and Gombe. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling daily accounting operations, and ensuring proper financial reporting and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and accounting transactions.
- Process invoices, payments, receipts, and expense reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor financial transactions.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and budgets.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure proper documentation of financial activities and transactions.
- Support tax documentation and statutory compliance.
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and numerical skills.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
