About the role
Malaria Consortium is seeking Workshop Assistants to support the 2026 Insecticide-Treated Net (ITN) Campaign in Abuja (FCT) and Abia. This role involves providing logistics and administrative support for the State Training of Trainers (STOT), LGA Coordinators & TAs Training, and Campaign Monitoring Team (CMT) Training. The organization is distributing over 16 million dual-insecticide nets to combat malaria in Borno, FCT, Kogi, and Abia states.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the meeting venue is clean, tidy, and hygienic by arriving on duty by 7:00 am.
- Compile, verify, and type participants’ attendance and bank account details into electronic templates.
- Provide daily attendance feedback to coordinate with food vendors.
- Take photographs of meeting sessions and distribute meeting materials to participants.
- Facilitate the logistics movement of materials and liaise with the hotel regarding feeding times.
- Set up and operate IT equipment to ensure smooth meeting operations.
- Return all meeting materials and equipment to the Malaria Consortium office after the meeting concludes.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE qualification.
- At least one year of experience in similar positions or assignments.
- Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good numeracy, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Candidates must complete the Malaria Consortium Safeguarding Course on Kaya and submit the certificate upon engagement.
