About the role
Moniepoint Incorporated is a global business payments and banking platform serving over 600,000 businesses. We are looking for a Workforce Business Partner (WBP) to join our team in Nigeria. This is a fully remote position where you will act as a strategic partner to business leaders. Your goal is to align people strategy with business priorities, ensuring that initiatives in performance, workforce planning, and leadership are executed with empathy and measurable impact. You will bridge the gap between business needs and people solutions, positioning talent as a key driver of growth.
Responsibilities
- Coach and influence leaders on talent strategy, performance management, and Independent Contractor engagement.
- Lead workforce planning and organizational design discussions to ensure the right structure and talent are in place.
- Partner with business leaders to translate organizational goals into actionable people plans.
- Act as a trusted advisor on Independent Contractor relations, ensuring fair and consistent resolutions.
- Analyze people data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and present data-driven recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and local labor laws while promoting a high-performance culture.
- Champion change management and communication strategies to support transformation and adoption.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a Business Partnership or advisory capacity.
- Proven ability to use HR data and analytics to inform decision-making.
- Strong understanding of core HR functions, including performance management, people relations, organizational design, and workforce planning.
- Demonstrated experience working in fast-paced, matrixed, or multinational environments.
- Preferred: Experience supporting technical or commercial units in fintech, banking, or tech environments.
- Preferred: Demonstrated success influencing senior stakeholders and leading complex change initiatives.
