About the role
Moniepoint Incorporated is a global business payments and banking platform that supports over 600,000 businesses. We are looking for a Workforce Business Partner (WBP) to act as a trusted advisor to business leaders. This role bridges the gap between business needs and people solutions, ensuring that talent is positioned as a key enabler of growth and innovation. The position is based in the North Central region of Nigeria and reports to the Team Lead, Workforce Partner.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to translate organizational goals into actionable people plans that drive capability, performance, and retention.
- Lead workforce planning and organizational design discussions to ensure the right structure and talent are in place.
- Coach and influence leaders on talent strategy, performance management, and Independent Contractor engagement.
- Act as a trusted advisor on Independent Contractor relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent resolutions.
- Analyze people data and insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, presenting data-driven recommendations.
- Champion change management and communication strategies that support transformation and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and local labor laws while promoting a positive, high-performance culture.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a Business Partnership or advisory capacity.
- Demonstrated experience working in fast-paced, matrixed, or multinational environments.
- Strong understanding of core HR functions, including performance management, people relations, organizational design, and workforce planning.
- Proven ability to use HR data and analytics to inform decision-making.
- Preferred: Experience supporting technical or commercial business units in a fintech, banking, or tech environment.
- Preferred: Demonstrated success influencing senior stakeholders and leading complex change initiatives.
