About the role
Green Grass Investment Nigeria Limited (GGI) is a Nigerian company operating in the mining and industrial sectors. We are currently recruiting a Welder to join our team in Warra, Kebbi. This is a full-time position focused on maintaining and fabricating metal structures within an industrial environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding and metal fabrication tasks.
- Repair and maintain metal structures and equipment.
- Execute cutting, joining, and fitting of metal components.
- Inspect finished work to ensure quality and durability.
- Operate welding machines and related tools safely.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Adhere to company safety standards and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Completion of a recognised welding apprenticeship training programme.
- Minimum educational qualification: Junior Secondary School Certificate Examination (JSSCE) or above.
- 1–4 years of progressive working experience in welding.
- Practical skills in welding, metal fabrication, cutting, joining, and repair.
- Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings (an added advantage).
- Good attention to detail and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work in Kebbi State.
