About the role
Sayed Farms Limited is a specialist in the poultry sector and the distribution of frozen foods in Nigeria. We are looking for an experienced and objective-driven Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Ibadan. This full-time role involves overseeing warehouse operations, forecasting inventory, and managing the flow of materials and finished goods to support our business operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement inventory plans, demand forecasts, and replenishment strategies to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Establish minimum and maximum stock levels, monitor consumption, and initiate timely replenishment requests with Procurement.
- Manage the receipt, inspection, verification, and storage of packaging materials, raw materials, and other consignments.
- Ensure timely issuance of materials to production in line with approved plans.
- Oversee finished goods warehousing, including receipt, storage, reconciliation, order processing, and dispatch.
- Liaise with Procurement, Production, Sales, and Maintenance to coordinate requirements and ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Implement inventory control procedures such as stock reconciliation, cycle counting, and variance investigation.
- Ensure proper warehouse space utilisation, material handling, and storage in line with safety standards.
- Utilise ERP systems to monitor inventory movements, track consumption, and generate reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Purchasing and Supply, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in warehouse management, preferably within the FMCG or manufacturing industry.
- Extensive knowledge of packaging materials, raw materials, finished goods management, and inventory planning.
- Proven experience in managing warehouse operations, including receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of materials.
- Demonstrable experience in finished goods inventory management, order fulfilment, and stock reconciliation.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and inventory/warehouse management applications.
- Strong leadership, analytical, organisational, forecasting, and problem-solving skills.
