About the role
SANY Nigeria, a subsidiary of the global SANY Group, is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to join their team in Lagos. This position focuses on managing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of heavy-duty equipment parts while maintaining accurate inventory records.
Responsibilities
- Receive overseas container shipments, verify parts against packing lists, and sort inventory for proper storage.
- Record inventory transactions in real-time using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel to ensure reporting accuracy.
- Conduct regular stock counts and audits to maintain high inventory accuracy in both digital and physical locations.
- Pick, pack, document, and prepare spare parts for customer delivery, ensuring timely dispatch.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics.
- ND, HND, or B.Sc. in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Proven ability to operate a forklift for handling heavy equipment safely.
- Experience handling large inventories and high SKU volumes.
- Willingness to work overtime when operational requirements demand.
- Ability to communicate in Chinese is an added advantage.
