About the role

Dame Irene Okwusoa Memorial Hospital is a multispecialty facility with a focus on Cardiothoracic and Cardiovascular care. We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Officer / Oiler to join our team in Oraifite, Anambra. This full-time position involves managing general stores, consumables, and fuel supplies while ensuring strict compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Receipt and Storage: Process goods receipts, inspect deliveries against purchase orders, and store materials in designated locations using First-In-First-Out (FIFO) methods.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, conduct cyclic counts, and maintain accurate records to prevent stock-outs or obsolescence.
  • AGO and Lubricant Management: Safely handle, store, and dispense AGO and lubricants to generators and ambulances based on valid vouchers from the Ostranet system.
  • Documentation: Maintain traceable records, prepare weekly and monthly reports on stock balances and consumption, and support the transition to SAP/HMIS systems.
  • Health & Safety: Enforce fire-safety, spill-control, and HSE policies to protect staff and assets.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in warehouse management and inventory control.
  • Knowledge of AGO and lubricant handling, storage, and dispensing procedures.
  • Familiarity with HSE regulations and safety protocols.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and generate reports.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
