About the role
SIMS Nigeria Limited is a nationwide consumer electronics business with over three decades of experience. We are looking for a detail-oriented Warehouse Officer to join our team in Ibadan. This full-time position focuses on overseeing daily warehouse operations and ensuring efficient inventory management to support our business growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of products.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and dispatch.
- Prepare inventory and warehouse reports as required.
- Supervise loading and unloading while maintaining safety standards.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in stock records.
- Conduct regular stock counts to maintain accurate inventory control.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment.
- Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or storekeeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and inventory management systems.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
