About the role
Villa Park Hotel and Suites is a luxury hospitality brand founded in 2007, known for exceptional service and privacy. We are currently seeking dedicated Waiters and Waitresses to join our team in Abuja (FCT). This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a professional environment that values professionalism and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Guest Service: Welcome guests, present menus, and explain food and beverage options.
- Order Management: Take accurate orders, communicate special requests and allergies to the kitchen or bar, and use the POS system for billing.
- Service Delivery: Serve meals and drinks promptly, check on guest satisfaction, and maintain cleanliness of tables and service stations.
- Support: Assist with room service, banquet setup, and refer any guest concerns to a supervisor immediately.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum of SSCE; hospitality training or OND is an advantage.
- Experience: At least 1 year of food and beverage service experience, preferably in a hotel or restaurant.
- Skills: Familiarity with order-taking, basic POS use, and service hygiene standards.
- Soft Skills: Good communication, customer service, and teamwork abilities.
- Availability: Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
