About the role
District10 is a contemporary restaurant and hospitality brand based in Abuja, Nigeria. We focus on exceptional food, thoughtful hospitality, and memorable dining experiences that celebrate Nigerian cuisine and global flavors. We are looking for a dedicated Waiter or Waitress to join our team in Gwarimpa, Abuja (FCT). This is a full-time position within the Restaurant/Service department, reporting directly to the Manager.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and attend to customers with professionalism.
- Present menus and explain available meals and beverages.
- Take customer orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen and bar.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Check on customers to ensure satisfaction and handle complaints politely.
- Process bills and payments where required.
- Assist with setting tables and preparing the restaurant before service.
- Clear and clean tables after customers leave.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant and service areas.
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
- Friendly, respectful, and professional attitude.
- Good teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous restaurant experience is an advantage.
