About the role
Detail and Avedia is an Integrated Business and Media Solutions Consulting agency dedicated to unlocking the potential of businesses across Africa. We are looking for a Video Production Specialist to manage the creation of high-quality video content. This full-time role involves handling everything from equipment setup and filming to editing and final delivery for social media, marketing campaigns, and other productions.
Responsibilities
- Handle framing, composition, camera movement, exposure, and sound recording.
- Set up and manage cameras, lighting, microphones, audio, and other production equipment.
- Edit short-form and long-form video content.
- Organise, manage, and maintain video files, equipment, and production assets.
- Collaborate with creative and business teams to execute production briefs.
- Ensure all video content meets the required quality and brand standards.
- Handle colour correction, sound editing, subtitles, transitions, and basic motion graphics.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in video production, videography, or a similar role.
- Must have completed NYSC.
- Portfolio demonstrating previous video production and editing work.
- Strong camera operation and video production skills.
- Good knowledge of lighting, sound recording, and production equipment.
- Strong visual storytelling skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
