About the role
Deepwater Engineering Limited (DEL) is a multi-discipline service provider with extensive experience in the offshore Oil and Gas industry. The company specializes in underwater NDT, inspection, construction, salvage, and maintenance services for offshore and onshore assets. We are currently seeking a qualified Vessel Master to join our team in Lagos.
Responsibilities
- Manage and operate Crew Transfer Vessels (CTVs) and/or surfer boats safely.
- Oversee crew management and ensure safe vessel handling.
- Apply strong knowledge of offshore and nearshore CTV operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as Master on Crew Transfer Vessels and/or surfer boats.
- Valid STCW certification and all relevant flag state endorsements.
- Strong knowledge of offshore / nearshore CTV operations.
- Proven track record of safe vessel handling and crew management.
- Demonstrated experience with jet propulsion systems is strongly preferred.
