About the role
We are looking for a skilled Utility Technician to join our team in Ogun. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting factory utility systems. Your work will ensure a reliable supply of power, water, steam, and compressed air to support smooth production.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on utility systems.
- Operate and monitor factory utility equipment.
- Maintain generators, boilers, compressors, pumps, and water systems.
- Follow all safety, environmental, and maintenance procedures.
- Keep accurate maintenance and operational records.
- Help reduce utility downtime and energy consumption.
- Diagnose and repair equipment faults promptly.
- Monitor utility performance and report any abnormalities.
- Support the installation and servicing of utility equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in utilities, maintenance, or industrial operations.
- OND or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Good knowledge of generators, boilers, compressors, pumps, and water systems.
- Ability to read basic technical drawings and manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting and equipment maintenance skills.
- Good safety awareness and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Experience in feed production, agro-processing, food processing, or manufacturing is preferred.
