About the role
We are looking for an experienced Utilities Supervisor to manage the daily operation and maintenance of our utility systems. This role is crucial for ensuring a reliable supply of power, water, steam, compressed air, and other essential services that support smooth production in our starch manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily operation of factory utility systems.
- Monitor and maintain generators, boilers, compressors, pumps, water systems, and other utilities.
- Troubleshoot equipment faults to minimize downtime.
- Report utility performance, faults, and maintenance activities to management.
- Lead and supervise utility operators and technicians.
- Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate operational and maintenance records.
- Monitor utility consumption and identify opportunities to reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
Requirements
- 5–10 years’ relevant experience in utilities, maintenance, or industrial operations.
- B.Sc. / HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong troubleshooting and equipment maintenance skills.
- Good knowledge of generators, boilers, compressors, pumps, and water systems.
- Ability to read basic technical drawings and manuals.
- Good safety awareness and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Experience in feed production, agro-processing, food processing, or manufacturing is preferred.
