About the role
Chime is seeking a Workplace Experience Coordinator to support the daily operations of our 84,000 sq. ft. New York City office. You will work closely with the Workplace Experience Lead in NYC and the Regional Workplace Manager in Chicago. This is a hands-on position where you will help shape how the office functions and ensure employees have a positive experience. The role requires being in the office five days a week.
Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming and functional workplace environment for all team members.
- Act as the primary point of contact for workplace questions and requests.
- Collaborate with Culinary, IT, People Experience, and other teams to support office needs.
- Manage setup and breakdown for meetings, events, and team gatherings.
- Handle new hire onboarding, including desk setup, welcome materials, and orientation tours.
- Oversee daily mail and package operations, including scanning items into the digital system.
- Coordinate facilities requests and vendor visits, tracking them through completion.
- Maintain accurate documentation, inventories, and operational processes.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in a fast-paced Workplace or Facilities role.
- Strong service mindset with a focus on following through on tasks.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate clearly and friendly with employees, vendors, and partners.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, Slack, Envoy, and Jira, or the ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Availability to work onsite five days a week, including occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends.
Pay and benefits
- Base salary range: $31.25 – $43.27.
