About the role
Equinox is looking for a purpose-driven Studio Crew member to join their team in Coral Gables. This position is part of the SoulCycle brand, which focuses on creating a mind-body-soul experience built on community and hospitality. As a part-time employee, you will help redefine health and happiness for clients while fostering an inclusive and respectful environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver hospitality: Provide high-level customer service and support to clients.
- Support operations: Assist Studio Management with daily tasks and projects.
- Assist instructors: Help ensure a smooth class check-in process.
- Maintain standards: Uphold the distinct SoulCycle aesthetic, atmosphere, and culture.
- Clean and prep: Clean exercise equipment (bikes, weights), floors, mirrors, common areas, bathrooms, and changing rooms.
- Teamwork: Work cohesively with staff and assist in training new front desk hires.
- Retail support: Maintain product knowledge for studio retail operations.
Requirements
- Availability: At least 3 days per week, totaling 20 hours, with at least one day on a Saturday or Sunday.
- Holiday shifts: Must be available to work peak holiday shifts.
- Experience: Customer service experience is required.
- Skills: Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and initiate tasks without direction in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, friendly phone and email etiquette, and the ability to work with diverse personalities.
- Attitude: Positive, can-do attitude with outstanding problem-solving skills.
